I want to use this space to introduce a part of myself and my work to you. I feel a deep desire to experience a community full of people who are free of preconceived judgement and are able to accept countering points of view. Personally, there is nothing more uplifting and meaningful than practicing mindfulness, expanding my horizon by learning, and gaining new skills. I am convinced that every single person is equal, and that each of our thoughts, spoken words, feelings and actions have an impact on our world because we are all connected. This is what I hope to reflect in my work, but it is ultimately the viewer who decides. I am always curious and interested in any feedback.
“…What is grievous, dompting, grim, about our lives is that we are shut up within ourselves, with an itch to get outside ourselves. And to be stolen away from ourselves by Art is a momentary relaxation from that itching, a minute’s profound, and as it were secret, enfranchisement.”
- John Galsworthy, Vague Thoughts on Art, 1911
